Miranda July excells in depicting quirkyness and weirdness; those behaviours, thoughts and feelings that are just a bit... off. In this novel, characters get entangled both physically as well as mentally and also in imagined worlds, especially when the narrator does her "Thing". TW: if you are oversensitive to representations of OCD-ish behaviours in the home, such as special systems for cleaning and washing the dishes, please refrain from reading this book. Highly recommended reading/listening. The author narrates the audiobook.
